Takako Mamiya is a Japanese singer of the 1980s known for a single album, Love Trip (1982), which became one of the most sought-after city pop LPs among collectors.[1]
Love Trip
Little is publicly documented about Mamiya beyond this record.[1] Love Trip appeared in 1982 on LP and cassette, with a promotional 7-inch of “Love Trip” / “One More Night”.[2] Scarce on original vinyl, it has been reissued repeatedly during the revival — on CD in 2012, on LP from 2014, as a 7-inch of “Love Trip” / “Mayonaka no Joke” in 2021, and on SACD in 2022.[2]
